SDG2030 : the 17 Sustainable
Development Goals

The anchoring of this event in the SDG2030 is an essential feature of the project.
These 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, created in the following of the Millennium Goals, are one of the most promising transversal international projects today. Also called World Goals, they are a global call to action to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people live in peace and prosperity.

Each year, all the countries of the world are evaluated on 17 domains subdivided in markers to estimate their improvement, stagnation or deterioration on the quality of life of their citizens, and the environmental impact.

Each country must therefore value each year its concrete actions. These objectives are closely related to each other, the success of the one often dependent on the resolution of problems generally associated with another objective.

Quality education for all is one of the most solid and proven pillars of sustainable development. It aims to provide equal access to quality education and eliminate gender inequalities.

The Sustainable Development Goals also aim to significantly reduce all forms of violence, and work alongside governments and communities to find durable solutions to conflict and insecurity. Strengthening the rule of law and promoting human rights are at the heart of this process.

The Press & Cartooning Global Forum proposes to bring together every year, until 2030, initiatives and field solutions shared by participants from all horizons and nationalities in the form of concrete recommendations in 3 SDGs:

– SDG # 16 Peace, justice and effective institutions
– SDG # 10 Reduction of inequalities
– SDG # 4 Quality éducation for all
Showing the cartooning as a positive and concrete tool of improvement of the society and to provide recommendations in creative commons license, usable everywhere by all: designers, associations, communities, organizations, administrations .. .
For the common good, peace, and the improvement of society.
