General participation rules to
the Press & Cartooning Global Forum

Participation in PCGF is subject to acceptance of the rules established by the PCGF Steering Committee, in order to ensure the smooth running, as well as the safety of each participant and the trust of stakeholders and partners.

Eligible participants

The PCGF are annual working meetings, gathering active participants in the field of Press Drawing: its production, its use, its edition, its conservation, its promotion, its study; The aim of these working meetings is to promote the already active and positive role in the press drawing society by bringing back field initiatives and their results.

These working meetings are reserved for accredited participants, neither public nor obervers.

In this perspective, requests for participation from actors, organizations or individuals, who can testify to actions on the ground that they have undertaken, and that they agree to share and discuss during exchanges, are privileged. The outcome of the exchanges is to choose collectively promising initiatives that can be translated into recommendations, then broadcast internationally on behalf of the PCGF and the network of participants.

Any request to participate in PCGF is strictly personal and can not be done in the name one-third, except money order. The PCGF Steering Committee can not be held liable if a person or organization finds itself registered by a third party without its consent.

However, you can contact a person or organization, whose participation in the relevant PCGF, you would find, and send it to you. address of the site so that it sends its request of participation to the organizers who will study with pleasure its proposal.

Accreditation request

The certification application is made only by online form on the website of PCGF.

En submitting its application, the applicant accepts without reservation all the rules of participation in the event and accepts in advance unilateral decisions of the Steering Committee, declared sovereign, on the attributions of accreditations and the organization of the event. He undertakes not to resort to any recourse if the committee was not able to grant him accreditation, if he had to cancel an accreditation or if for any reason, or for security reasons, the event should be canceled.

The applicant also undertakes to insure all costs to ensure his travel and accommodation, in a case of a live meeting, and not to solicit financial support from the EGDP. As the organization of EGDPs is funded by the organizers, there is no budget allocated to fund the attendance of participants.

If requests to participate is accepted, the applicant will receive by email a confirmation document in pdf sign, scanner (or photograph clearly and legibly) and return to the committee by email to confirm the information in the demande.

After this reception, the applicant will be sent his accreditation for the working day, which he will have to present at the entrance, printed or in electronic format.

He will also be informed of which role of participation it is proposed, in according to themes, sessions and other participants present.

Personnal datas

The data provided via the site will only be used for this project for organizational and security purposes. They may also be used for prospecting purposes (mailing, news letter, call for donation, etc.) and / or for internal statistics purposes, as well as for the production of accreditations. No information will be communicated or sold to a third party.

The data only concern the participation in the PCGF, and the data collected are all strictly necessary for the organization of the event.

    PCGF network

    The PCGF website offers participants a project of networking via a future page listing all the participating PCGF organizations. This list would be on a code protected area.

    This code will be modified every year and communicated only to the active PCGF participants of the current year.

    Only the organizations will be referenced, on a voluntary basis. The information relating to each organization referenced will be at least its logo, web address, Its address of seat and a mail of contact. Will be added the data of a referent contact and a presentation of the activities of the organization.

    The information could be modified or withdrawn on simple request of the organizations concerned.

    Participation to events

    Each accredited participant admits to know and agree to comply with the rules of entry, use and security in the venues hosting the event (ID presentation, schedules, …), or on online platforms (active camera, visible face, …).

    By requesting accreditation, the participant agrees that photographs and/or films are made during the events to document them and expressly accepts that the PCGF team make use of them for any communication medium required by the PCGF, on any medium whatsoever , printed, digital, projected, … The participant renounces, from his application for accreditation, to any claim relating to his image right and the use that could be made of media where it could appear. Similarly, he expressly agrees that his name and/or organization he represents be cited on the communication media or news releases about PCGFs. Only the risks to the safety of a participant may be argued, if they are documented, to request that the participation of a person or organization be anonymized or that a photograph is no longer broadcast or well blurred, the Steering Committee of CGP is sovereign in the decisions relating to these matters.
